Manufacturer bench figures (Diatone bench, one GF5125 per winding: 1700 KV at 24 V (6S, 996 g at 100%) and 2900 KV at 16 V (4S, 1051 g); throttle 10-100% in tens. Max thrust is the sold 1700 KV winding's 996 g); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

Mamba Toka 2004 vs other 2004 motors on 4S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (4S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 525 g and 1050 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 1050 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 2004 motor: 2004 motors compared. Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four Diatone Mamba Toka 2004 motors at 996 g max thrust each give 3984 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 1992 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 996 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 498 g.

Where this data comes from

Bench rows are Diatone's own 'Load Performance / TEST DATA' tables headed 'TOKA 2004 - 1700KV' and 'TOKA 2004 - 2900KV', the two datasheet images in the description of Diatone's former product page 'MAMBA TOKA 2004 1700KV/2900KV Racing Motor Green' on diatone.us (read in its Web Archive copy of 2025-08-11; the images are still on Diatone's Shopify CDN). The 2900 KV rows are the sibling winding's; kv_options is untouched at the 1700 KV our retail source sells, as on the TOKA 2203.5 page, and max_thrust_g is the 1700 KV's 996 g (owner ruling 2026-10-20). Each sheet's block maxima are its own 100% row (17.52 A / 418.10 W at 1700 KV, 31.63 A / 504.50 W at 2900 KV); the page's text block prints 418.1 W for both windings, the 1700 KV figure repeated. Input is 24 V x Current minus 0.4-0.6% on every 1700 KV row (a measured voltage just under the nominal 24 V printed) and 16 V x Current within 0.3% at 2900 KV; every printed efficiency is its own Thrust / Input (2.09 at 2900 KV 100% where 1051 / 504.50 = 2.083). The 1700 KV efficiency rises 2.31 -> 2.37 g/W between 80% and 90%, as printed. Weight is the sheet's 17.5 g with wire for 1700 KV (18 g for 2900 KV); the text block's 16.3 g says nothing about the wire (owner ruling 2026-10-20: weight_g includes the cable). The sheets print resistance as '210 Ohm' and '90 Ohm' where the text block gives 210 and 90 mOhm. Shaft is the prop-mounting shaft, 1.5 mm on both the text block and the drawing; the 3.0 mm 'Shaft Diameter' the retail listing carried is the inner shaft. Both blocks: 12N14P, Phi 26.2 x H15.3 mm, 24AWG 150 mm leads, 1700 KV 4-6S, 2900 KV 3-4S. Mounting stays empty: the drawing calls out '4-M2 EQS' on a 12 mm circle while the text block says '12x12mm, M2'.
