Manufacturer bench figures (BetaFPV bench, 21000 KV on a Gemfan 1811-3 at 1S; 8 throttle points (30-100% in 10% steps), 3.92-3.81 V under load); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four BetaFPV 1102 Brushless 2026 motors at 66.6 g max thrust each give 266.4 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 133.2 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 66.6 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 33.3 g.

Where this data comes from

The rows are BetaFPV's own "Outline Drawing / Load Performance" sheet image (1102_Brushless_Motors_2026_load_performance.jpg, 1600x1600) on betafpv.com/products/1102-brushless-motors-2026: one eight-row table headed "Freestyle 1102 - 21000KV" on a GF 1811-3 at 1S, 30-100% throttle in 10% steps, with Speed (RPM) and a per-row voltage (3.92 V down to 3.81 V under load). Its Input (W) is voltage x current to the tenth on every row, and its Efficiency is thrust over voltage x current within 0.01 g/W (the voltage and current columns are rounded, so 9.6 / (3.92 x 0.80) gives 3.06 where the sheet prints 3.05). The spec-block cross-check lands on the sheet's own 100% row: "Maximum Power: 35W" and "Maximum Current: 9.2A" are that row's 35.0 W and 9.18 A. Identity for this page: the maker's spec block and our retail listing agree on 21000 KV, 2.85 g, 4.2 V (1S) and a 1.5 mm shaft, and the listing's title names the 2026 line; the 2022-series 1102 (/motors/betafpv-2022-series-1102-micro-whoop/) is a different motor. The outline drawing gives the body as O13.8 x 13.6 mm overall (8.6 mm of body plus a 5 mm shaft), a 1.5 mm shaft, three M1.4 holes on a 6.6 mm bolt circle ("3-M1.4 EQS", a bolt circle, so mount_mm stays empty) and a 37 mm 28AWG JST 1.25 3-pin lead. Max thrust is 66.6 g, the 100% row, where the page carried none. Recommended props are the two BetaFPV names under Recommended Parts (GF 1811 3-Blade, GF 45mm 3-Blade); the bench run is on the first.
