Manufacturer bench figures (BetaFPV bench, 10500 KV on a Gemfan 2218 3-blade at 2S; 9 throttle points (20-100% in 10% steps), 7.94-7.82 V under load); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

Aquila20 1103 vs other 1103 motors on 2S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (2S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 50 g and 100 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 100 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 1103 motor: 1103 motors compared. How to read a bench table: reading motor bench tables.

Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four BetaFPV Aquila20 1103 motors at 142 g max thrust each give 568 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 284 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 142 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 71 g.

Where this data comes from

The rows are BetaFPV's own load-performance sheet image on betafpv.com/products/1103-brushless-motors-aquila20, headed on the page "Load performance of the 1103 Brushless Motors": one winding (10500 KV) on one prop (GF 2218-3) at 2S, nine throttle points 20-100% in 10% steps, with the voltage sagging 7.94 -> 7.82 V under load. It is the 2026-line template the 0702 (2026) sheet uses - a published Speed (RPM) column, a per-row voltage and no Coil temp column - not the struck-through-RPM shape of the 0702 II and 0702 sheets. Identity with our RaceDayQuads listing and with BetaFPV's own spec block is five figures to the digit: the 1103 stator, 10500 KV, 3.5 g +/-0.1 g, a O1.5 mm shaft 5 mm long and 2S (4.2 V x 2); the table's Model cell reads "C23 P1103-10500KV". Max thrust is 142 g, the 100% row, where the page carried none. No spec-block cross-check is possible here: unlike BetaFPV's 0802 (2026) and 1102 (2026) blocks, this product's block states neither a Maximum Power nor a Maximum Current. Three source facts recorded rather than repaired. First, the 20% row's Input is 2.26 W where its own Voltage x Current is 7.94 x 0.29 = 2.30 W (the printed power implies 7.79 V); every other row reproduces V x A inside the two-decimal rounding of its own columns. Second, the 30% row prints 4.03 g/W where its own 26 g over 6.33 W is 4.11 - the Thrust column is an integer and 25.5 g / 6.33 W is 4.03, so the efficiency is computed from an unrounded thrust; both rows are inside check_thrust.py's band and nothing was reconstructed. Third, the outline drawing's own inch conversion for the shaft is wrong by a factor of ten ("1.5mm/0.6in" beside "5mm/0.19in", "13.8mm/0.54in" and "13.6mm/0.53in", which are all correct). That drawing gives the motor as O13.6 x 13.8 mm overall, 8.8 mm of body plus the 5 mm shaft, on a 52 mm 30AWG lead with the connector included; the spec block puts three M1.4 screws on a 6.6 mm hole distance, which is a bolt circle and not a mount span, so mount_mm stays empty. Recommended props are BetaFPV's own Recommended Parts entry for the page, replacing our derived whoop-prop class. This is BetaFPV's only 1103 product - our other 1103 page, betafpv-1103-micro-whoop (8500/11000 KV), has no sheet anywhere on the brand's site.
