Manufacturer bench figures (Happymodel bench, 11000 KV on a 2023R propeller at 2S (7.4 V); 9 current steps 1.07-9.20 A, throttle not published); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

EX 1103 vs other 1103 motors on 2S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (2S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 50 g and 100 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 100 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 1103 motor: 1103 motors compared. How to read a bench table: reading motor bench tables.

Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four Happymodel EX 1103 motors at 121.9 g max thrust each give 487.6 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 243.8 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 121.9 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 60.95 g.

Where this data comes from

The rows are Happymodel's own bench table, published as an HTML table in the body of its product post on happymodel.cn - the first brand in this dataset whose bench data is markup rather than a photographed sheet, so every figure here is the source's own text. The template is a no-load block (2 V, its current, its speed and the KV that measurement implies) repeated beside a run of Voltage / Current / Thrust / Efficiency / Power rows and the propeller. It steps CURRENT, not throttle, and publishes no per-row RPM, so both those columns are empty here. No spec-block cross-check is possible on this brand: Happymodel's Specifications blocks state no maximum power and no maximum current. Every row reproduces its own printed power as Voltage x Current to within 0.01 W, and its printed efficiency as Thrust / Power. Its no-load block is 0.38 A and 22010 RPM at 2 V, i.e. a measured 11005 KV against an 11000 KV nameplate - the closest agreement of the seven Happymodel windings read. Identity with Happymodel's own block is the 11 mm x 3 mm stator, 11000 KV, a Ø1.5 mm shaft, 9N12P, Ø13.5x15.5 mm and 3.8 g, the last of which our RaceDayQuads listing agrees with. **max_cells was corrected 1S -> 1-2S**: Happymodel's block says "No.of Cells(Lipo):1-2S" and the bench run is at 7.4 V, which is 2S, while our retail listing's own Input Voltage line is blank. One source fact recorded rather than repaired: the propeller cell of this table is a nested one-cell table, so a naive HTML parse loses the prop name - it is a 2023R, and the post's sheet image is named 1103-11000KV.jpg.
