HGLRC Zeus 20x20/30x30 25-800mW 5.8GHz

Listed as: HGLRC Zeus 20x20/30x30 25-800mW 5.8GHz - MMCX

Of the 81 other 5.8 GHz analog video transmitters in our database, 30 have a lower maximum power than the Zeus 20x20/30x30 25-800mW 5.8GHz (800 mW, 29 dBm), 12 the same and 39 a higher one; the class median is 800 mW. The Zeus 20x20/30x30 25-800mW 5.8GHz steps through 25 / 100 / 200 / 400 / 800 mW, which is 14 / 20 / 23 / 26 / 29 dBm: the top level is 15 dB above the lowest, about 5.7x the free-space range on the same antennas.

HGLRC's own Betaflight VTX table is on this page: 5 bands of 8 channels, 5362–5917 MHz, 5 power levels, IRC Tramp. CLI commands and JSON file.

HGLRC Zeus 20x20/30x30 25-800mW 5.8GHz VTX table for Betaflight

The band and channel frequencies and power levels as HGLRC publishes them for IRC Tramp control. Paste the CLI commands into Betaflight's CLI tab, or load the JSON file in Betaflight Configurator's Video Transmitter tab. How it works: setting up a VTX table in Betaflight.

Source: https://cdn.shopifycdn.net/s/files/1/2672/8290/files/Zeus_VTX_800mw_V2.0.json?v=1635392484 — Copied from the maker's Betaflight file Zeus_VTX_800mw_V2.0.json, linked from the Zeus VTX 800mW product page ('You can find VTX Table here'). Five bands as the file names them: BOSCAM_A, BOSCAM_B, FATSHARK, RACEBAND and IMD6 (letter I, 5362-5621 MHz, the band others call LOWRACE); no Band E, which is how the page's '5 bands, 40 channels' comes out. Power 25/100/200/400/800 matches the page's PIT/25/100/200/400/800mW; the page names the protocol IRC Tramp, so the values are milliwatts.

Transmitting is only legal on the frequencies and power your country allows; see VTX frequency bands.

Where this data comes from

Cited to HGLRC, whose own labelled block reads: 'Model: Zeus VTX 800mW, Built-in Microphone, Input voltage: DC 6-26V, Output voltage: 5V/2A, Antenna interface: MMCX, Output power: PIT/25/100/200/400/800mW, Frequency: 5.8GHz 5 bands, 40 channels, Installing Hole: 20X20/30X30mm.M3, Size: 37mm x 37mm x 5mm, Weight: 4.8g, Protocol: IRC tramp', with a current draw per step (PIT@94mA, 25mW@169mA/14dBm, 100mW@199mA/20dBm, 200mW@216mA/23dBm, 400mW@279mA/26dBm, 800mW@387mA/29dBm) - conducted milliwatts with a dBm equivalent, not an EIRP. The 800 mW, 40 channels, MMCX and 4.8 g the retail listing gave us are all confirmed. mount_mm gains the second pattern the board is named for: this is the 'Smart Mounting' Zeus, whose ears carry both a 20x20 and a 30x30 hole set (both visible in HGLRC's own board photographs), and the scrape had only the 20x20 from the retail title. power_draw is the maker's own supply figure, the per-level lines of HGLRC's labelled block, 'PIT@94mA, 25mW@169mA/14dBm, 100mW@199mA/20dBm, 200mW@216mA/23dBm, 400mW@279mA/26dBm, 800mW@387mA/29dBm'; no supply voltage is printed beside them (input DC 6-26V), read 2026-10-20 through scraper/propose_vtx_power_draw.py (the store's products.json, common.UA); it is the VTX's input draw, not its RF output. frequency_range is the edges of HGLRC's own Betaflight file Zeus_VTX_800mw_V2.0.json, linked from the product page: five bands, 40 channels (the page's '5 bands, 40 channels'), IMD6 I1 5362 .. R8 5917 MHz; no Band E, so nothing above 5917.
