Manufacturer bench figures (BetaFPV bench, 25000 KV on a Gemfan 1207-3P at 1S; 9 throttle points (20-100% in 10% steps), 3.93-3.88 V under load); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

Freestyle 0702 vs other 0702 motors on 1S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (1S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 10 g and 20 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 20 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 0702 motor: 0702 motors compared. How to read a bench table: reading motor bench tables.

Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four BetaFPV Freestyle 0702 motors at 28.8 g max thrust each give 115.2 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 57.6 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 28.8 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 14.4 g.

Where this data comes from

The rows are BetaFPV's own "Outline Drawing / Load Performance" sheet image on betafpv.com/products/0702-brushless-motors-2026, one nine-row table per version (Champion 36000KV, Racing 30000KV, Freestyle 25000KV), all three on a GF 1207-3P at 1S and all three on a 20-100% throttle grid in 10% steps. Unlike the 0702 II sheets this one publishes Speed (RPM) and a per-row voltage (3.93 V down to 3.84 V under load) and prints no Coil temp column at all. Its Input (W) is not voltage x current to the hundredth - the voltage column is rounded to two decimals, so 3.91 x 1.93 gives 7.55 W where the sheet prints 7.54 - but every row's printed Efficiency is its thrust divided by its own printed Input to the hundredth. The outline drawing gives the body as O9 x 11.95 mm overall (8.55 mm of body plus a 3.4 mm shaft, against the older 0702 line's 12.75/8.55/4.2), a 1 mm shaft, three M1.4 holes on a 6.6 mm bolt circle ("3-M1.4EQS"), which is a bolt circle and not a mount span, so mount_mm stays empty, and a 35 mm 30AWG JST 1.25 3-pin lead; the spec table's own Dimensions photograph states the same four figures a second time. This is the 2026 line, not the 0702/0702SE the brand also still sells: our retail listing's own body says "0702 Brushless Motors (2026)" and reproduces the 2026 spec table to the digit. Identity for this page is eleven figures shared with that spec table - 25000 KV, 15.01 W maximum power, 3.86 A maximum current, brass bushings, 1.50 g, 4.2 V (1S), a O1.0 mm shaft 3.4 mm long, 30AWG, a 35 mm lead, a JST 1.25 3-pin connector and 3 x M1.4 EQS O6.6 mm mounting - and the spec-block cross-check lands on this sheet's own 100% row: 3.86 A at 15.01 W is that row to the digit. Max thrust is 28.8 g, that row, where the page carried none, and this is the most efficient of the three versions at every throttle point, peaking at 2.05 g/W against the Racing's 1.60 and the Champion's 1.55. Recommended props are the GF 1219S 3-blade BetaFPV names for the Freestyle version, although the bench run above is on the GF 1207-3P it names for the other two.
