Manufacturer bench figures (VCI Hobby bench, 23000/27000/30000 KV at 1S (4 V), 10 throttle points (10-100%) per KV on a GF1219S-3); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

0702 Pro DB vs other 0702 motors on 1S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (1S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 10 g and 20 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 20 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 0702 motor: 0702 motors compared. How to read a bench table: reading motor bench tables.

Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four VCI HOBBY 0702 Pro DB motors at 37.6 g max thrust each give 150.4 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 75.2 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 37.6 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 18.8 g.

Where this data comes from

The rows are VCI Hobby's own 'Testing Data' table, published as an image in the Specifications tab of the motor's product page on vcihobby.com. This is the whoop template: TEN throttle points (10-100% in tens) rather than the SPARK sheets' eight, and NO RPM COLUMN AT ALL, so every row here carries an empty RPM. VCI sells and benches this motor in three windings and all three tables are here; `kv_options` keeps the 27000 KV our retail source sells, so max thrust is the 27000 KV's own best, 37.60 g; the 30000 KV winding peaks at 38.80 g on the same prop. Every row reproduces the sheet's two identities (printed Power = 4 V x printed current, printed Efficiency = Thrust / Power). Each winding's Specifications panel lands on its own 100% row (3.8 A / 15.2 W, 5.1 A / 20.4 W, 5.9 A / 23.6 W). Identity with our retail listing is 27000 KV, the 0702 stator (the panels print Ø7*L2 mm), 1S and 1.49 g including cable; the panels' shaft is written Ø1 mm. The DB and the PRO LITE share a body, a prop and a test rig, and the DB is the heavier of the two by 0.06-0.11 g per winding. max_thrust_g is the sold winding's own best (owner ruling 2026-10-20: it comes from a winding the page sells; rows of other windings stay).
