Manufacturer bench figures (6S, EMAX AVIA 7040-3, 100% throttle, 1500KV; manufacturer payload test, 8 load points per KV, 6S); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.
E3 Series 2808 vs other 2808 motors on 6S
The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (6S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 1250 g and 2500 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 2500 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 2808 motor: 2808 motors compared. Thrust-to-weight with this motor
Four EMAX E3 Series 2808 motors at 2640 g max thrust each give 10560 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 5280 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 2640 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 1320 g.

Where this data comes from
Weight, body, winding, cell rating and resistance from EMAX's own Specifications sheet (ECO-111-20250308---__14.jpg) on the maker's ECO III product page, read at full size 2026-10-20 (EMAX sells the E3 series as ECO III, the same motor): one block per winding, each 12N14P, Φ34.8*37mm, 5 mm bearing shaft, 18#AWG 250 mm lead, internal resistance 56 / 47 mΩ (1300/1500 KV), weight 53.6 g at 1300 KV, 53.8 g at 1500 KV, every one printed "(W/O Silicone Wire)"; the retail listing repeats the same figures "without silicone wire". EMAX prints no weight with the cable, so weight_g keeps the maker's first-listed winding's figure, named on the page as cable excluded. No. of cells per winding as printed: 3-6S at both windings. The drawing gives a Φ19 4-M3 bolt circle (mount_bolt_circle_mm) and an M5 prop thread; the listing's "Mounting Pattern: 19x19mm" is not a square pattern on EMAX's drawing, so mount_mm is not published.
