Manufacturer bench figures (VCI Hobby bench, 1950/2050/2100 KV at 6S (24 V), 8 throttle points (30-100%) per KV on each of four 5in props); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

VCI Spark 2207 Pro vs other 2207 motors on 6S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (6S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 875 g and 1750 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 1750 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 2207 motor: 2207 motors compared. How to read a bench table: reading motor bench tables.

Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four VCI HOBBY VCI Spark 2207 Pro motors at 1970 g max thrust each give 7880 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 3940 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 1970 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 985 g.

Where this data comes from

The rows are VCI Hobby's own 'Testing Data' table, published as an image in the Specifications tab of the motor's product page on vcihobby.com - the thirteenth brand this dataset has read a manufacturer sheet from. One image carries a complete block per winding: a Specifications panel and then columns Model / Propeller / Voltage (V) / Throttle (%) / Current (A) / Thrust (g) / Efficiency (g/W) / Power (W) / RPM / Temperature (C), eight throttle points (30-100% in tens) on each of four props at a fixed 24 V. The sheet's own note says the figures are from VCI's test platform and that the temperature is the spindle temperature after a 0-100% static run, so it is one figure per prop run and not per row - 98-151 C across the twelve runs here, and not a field this dataset carries. Every one of the 96 rows reproduces both of the sheet's own identities: the printed Power is 24 V x the printed current, and the printed Efficiency is Thrust / that Power. The cross-check against each winding's Specifications panel lands on a row: the 1950 KV panel's 44.73 A / 1073.52 W, the 2050 KV panel's 47.37 A / 1136.88 W and the 2100 KV panel's 50.27 A / 1206.48 W are each that winding's GF 51466-3B 100% row to the digit. Identity with our retail listing is the three KV, the 2207 stator (the panels print Ø22*L7 mm), the M5 shaft, 6S and the weight: VCI states 33.3/33.3/33.2 g including cable against RaceDayQuads' 33.7/33.3/33.2. The panels also give a per-winding internal resistance - 56, 55 and 54 mOhm - which is why resistance_mohm stays empty: this page is one motor in three windings and the field holds one number. The 1950 KV GF F3-3B run's RPM column is the source's own shape, 17712 at 50% and 18892 at 60% where every other run of this motor steps about 3000 RPM; nothing here is smoothed. CAUTION, added 2026-10-02: the 2100 KV block of this sheet is reproduced a second time by VCI itself, headed VCI 2207 PRO-2110KV YUKI EDITION, on the RaceDayQuads listing of the Yuki motor - identical in all 32 rows and in its whole Specifications panel, the KV cell alone differing. Those rows are therefore on /motors/vci-hobby-vci-spark-2207-pro-yuki/ as well, and at most one of the two KV figures was the motor on the rig. weight_g is the first-listed winding's figure, 33.3 g at 1950 KV, named beside it (re-read 2026-10-20 off vcihobby.com id 178's 1950 KV Specifications panel, 'Weight(Incl. Cable): 33.3g'); RaceDayQuads' 1950 KV listing prints 33.7 g, which no VCI document states.
