Manufacturer bench figures (GEPRC bench, 17000 KV and 22000 KV at 1S (4.2 V) on a Gemfan 1635 4-blade; current stepped 0.5-5.0 A and 0.5-7.8 A, throttle not published); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

SPEEDX2 0802 vs other 0802 motors on 1S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (1S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 20 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 20 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 0802 motor: 0802 motors compared. How to read a bench table: reading motor bench tables.

Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four GEPRC SPEEDX2 0802 motors at 44.02 g max thrust each give 176.08 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 88.04 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 44.02 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 22.01 g.

Where this data comes from

The rows are GEPRC's own 'Load Performance' table, published as an image in the description gallery of its product page on geprc.com. This whoop line uses neither of the templates GEPRC's bigger motors use: it steps CURRENT rather than throttle (0.5 A at a time), holds the pack voltage fixed, prints an Input (W) column that is exactly Voltage x Current, and leaves its own Speed (RPM) column EMPTY on every row - so throttle and rpm are empty here. Printed efficiency reproduces Thrust / Input on every row. The cross-check is GEPRC's own per-winding summary panel in the same gallery, which gives each winding one power and one pull figure: they are each table's last row to the digit. GEPRC sells this motor in two windings and publishes a table for each, so both are here: 17000 KV (10 rows, 39.21 g at 5.00 A) and 22000 KV (16 rows, 44.02 g at 7.80 A), which is why **kv_options gained the 22000 KV** - our RaceDayQuads listing sells only the 17000 KV version, and the KV variants of one motor belong on one page. Identity with GEPRC's own Specifications block is the 8.4x2.0 mm stator, 9N12P, a Ø1.0 mm shaft, a Ø10.7x14.4 mm body, 2.0 g and a 1S 380-530 mAh pack, which the 4.2 V bench confirms. The 22000 KV curve is the source's own shape: its efficiency falls to 1.24 g/W at 2.5 A, recovers to 1.43 at 6.0 A and falls again - nothing here is smoothed.
