Manufacturer bench figures (iFlight test report per winding, 6 throttle points (50-100%) on a 4030 prop at 16 V (4S), 3000/3800/4600KV); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.
Xing2 1404 vs other 1404 motors on 4S
The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (4S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.
| Motor | KV | Prop | Peak thrust | At 300 g | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| iFlight Xing2 1404 | 4600 | 4030 | 574 g at 288 W | 66 W (4.52 g/W) | |
| XILO Stealth 1404 | 4500 | GF3028 3R | 351 g at 196 W | 145 W (2.06 g/W) | |
| AOS RC Supernova 1404 | 4000 | Gemfan 3016R*3 | 474 g at 243 W | 122 W (2.46 g/W) | |
| Diatone Mamba Toka 1404 | 4000 | GF D63 | 360 g at 216 W | 168 W (1.78 g/W) | |
| Happymodel EX 1404 | 3500 | Gemfan 4023 3-blade propeller | 327 g at 141 W | 125 W (2.4 g/W) |
Power at 300 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 300 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 1404 motor: 1404 motors compared. Thrust-to-weight with this motor
Four iFlight Xing2 1404 motors at 574 g max thrust each give 2296 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 1148 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 574 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 287 g.

Where this data comes from
iFlight's product page carries one TEST REPORT image per winding (XING2-1404-3000KV.png, -3800KV.png, -4600KV-1.png): a spec table, the drawing and a 6-row datasheet on a 4030 prop at 16 V (4S), 50-100% throttle. They confirm all three windings, 9.1 g with wire for each, 3-4S, Ø19.9x18.4 mm (the drawing's 18.4 is the body; the 1.5 mm shaft protrudes a further 4 mm), 9x9 M2, 9N12P, 309/220/159 mOhm, a 1.5 mm shaft, 120 mm 26AWG leads, N52H curved magnets and NSK 5x2x2 bearings, and each sheet's peak (13.8 A / 220.8 W, 15.84 A / 253.4 W, 17.99 A / 287.8 W) is its 100% row. All 18 rows pass V x A and the efficiency identity (the 3000KV sheet prints power to the whole watt; its g/W is thrust over 16 V x A). The retail listing's 8.5 g and 2-4S moved to the maker's 9.1 g and 3-4S. Max thrust is 574 g, 4600KV on a 4030 at 16 V
