Manufacturer bench figures (Diatone bench, 4000 KV winding on a GF D63 at 16 V (4S), throttle 30-100% in tens; the 3000 KV winding this page sells has no published table, so no max thrust is stated); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

Mamba Toka 1404 vs other 1404 motors on 4S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (4S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 300 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 300 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 1404 motor: 1404 motors compared. Where this data comes from

Bench rows are Diatone's own 'Load Performance / TEST DATA' table headed 'TOKA 1404 - 4000KV', the one datasheet image in the description of Diatone's former product page 'MAMBA TOKA 1404 3000KV/4000KV Racing Motor Green' on diatone.us (read in its Web Archive copy of 2025-06-24; the image is still on Diatone's Shopify CDN). Diatone published no table for the 3000 KV winding this page sells, so the 4000 KV rows are shown as the sibling winding's and max_thrust_g stays empty (owner ruling 2026-10-20: it comes from a winding the page sells); kv_options is untouched, as on the TOKA 2203.5 page. Every row's Input is its own 16 V x Current within 0.1% and every printed efficiency is its own Thrust / Input; the sheet's block maxima (13.48 A, 215.64 W) are its own 100% row. The 4000 KV block rates 3-4S, 175 mOhm, 9N12P, Phi 20.5 x H15 mm and 11.8 g with wire; the page's text block gives 10.5 g for both windings without saying whether the wire is in, and 310 mOhm, 3S-6S for 3000 KV. Mounting stays empty: the drawing calls out '4-M2 EQS' on a 12 mm circle while the text block says '12x12mm, M2'.
