Manufacturer bench figures (Axisflying bench, 6S (23.6-24.0 V), 8 throttle points (30-100%) per prop; three props at 1860 KV and four at 1960 KV); real-world thrust varies with ESC, battery sag and prop condition.

AF2207.5 vs other 2207 motors on 6S

The same thrust costs different power on different motors. Each line is one maker's own bench series (6S, its own prop), drawn as grams of thrust per watt against thrust, so a higher line makes that thrust for less battery current. Throttle percent is left out on purpose: it means something different on every maker's rig.

Power at 1350 g is read off each maker's curve, straight-line between its two nearest bench points; 1350 g is the highest thrust every motor here reached. Different props and rigs move these curves as much as the motor does, so compare rows on a similar prop. Peak thrust of every 2207 motor: 2207 motors compared. How to read a bench table: reading motor bench tables.

Thrust-to-weight with this motor

Four Axisflying AF2207.5 motors at 1388 g max thrust each give 5552 g: 2:1, the minimum to fly, up to 2776 g all-up; 4:1 (freestyle) up to 1388 g; 8:1 (racing) up to 694 g.

Where this data comes from

Axisflying publishes the AF2207.5 as one product in two windings (1860 and 1960 KV, one SKU with the KV chosen at checkout), and a Testing data sheet for each, so both windings are on this page; the RaceDayQuads listing we price from carries only the 1960 KV. Identity against that listing: 33.90 g with its 20AWG 150 mm leads, 6S, 1960 KV. Both sheets: 12N14P, 5 mm shaft with an M5 prop thread (13 mm exposed), 63.42 mOhm at 1860 KV and 61.49 mOhm at 1960 KV, idle current 1.23 A at 10 V on every prop and both windings. Motor internal temperature at full throttle, 37 degC ambient: 110/97/102 degC on the 1860 KV sheet (GF 51466 V2 / HQ MCK / HQ P3.5) and 102/106/105/108 degC on the 1960 KV one (GF 51366 V3 / GF 51466 V2 / HQ J37 / HQ J40). Two things recorded as the source prints them rather than repaired: the spec block states the size as "Phi 27.*20.45mm" with a digit missing after the decimal point - the dimension drawing on the same image prints Phi 27 +/-0.1 and 20.45 +/-0.3, which is where the published figure comes from - and the HQ P3.5 70% row reads 22972 rpm against 22505 at 60% and 26238 at 80%, a flat step while current and thrust rise normally. The drawing's mount callout is four M3 holes on a Phi 16 +/-0.05 bolt circle, i.e. an 11.3 mm square, not the 16x16 mm square 22xx motors usually take; it is left out of mount_mm, which holds square patterns. Each sheet's spec block states Max Power, Max current and Max force per prop, and all seven are that prop's own 100% row - so no prop block is missing from this transcription; four of the seven differ in the last printed digit only (33.64 A against the table's 33.65, 896.13/907.28/912.06 W against 896.14/907.29/912.07), and the block prints max force to 0.1 g where the table rounds to whole grams. Axisflying also sells a separate "Bando 2207.5" in the same two KV whose spec block is a different motor (58.08/58.13 mOhm, Phi 27.9x32.9 mm, 35.50/35.65 g); nothing here comes from it. That one is the Axisflying x SyncFPV x Supafly collaboration we publish at /motors/axisflying-x-supaflyfpv-x-syncfpv-2207-5/, and the shaft is no longer one of the figures that separates the two: its block says 4 mm, but the dimension drawing beside it calls out an M5 thread over a Phi 5 shaft, same as this motor
